In Sierra Leone, we issue passports at our High Commission in Freetown. We aim to process passports within 10 woking days from receipt of a correct fee and complete application at the British High Commission, Freetown. However, with effect from 1 June 2007, applicants renewing their passport may also be required to attend an interview. Passport applicants should allow 4 weeks for the processing of their applications and should not make travel plans until they have received their passport.
